This session will focus on the identification of practically relevant knowledge and capability gaps relevant to promoting disaster resilience and proactive climate change adaptation.  Panelists (consisting primarily of reflective practitioners/”pracademics”  will be asked to identify and reflect on challenges arising from extreme weather events, climate change, and other emerging hazards, threats, and risks in the context of evolving  patterns of societal vulnerability, socio-technical change, and political polarization.
