During this pre-conference networking gathering, conference participants and attendees will have an opportunity to meet the participants of the 2018 Puerto Rico Rise(ing) Workshop and learn about what’s behind the RISE concept, why RISE is needed, and an opportunity to share any ideas you have to strengthen the RISE paradigm. University at Albany President Havidán Rodríguez and University of Minnesota President Joan Gabel will offer some greetings to preconference attendees. Food and refreshments will be available.
