Transforming University Engagement In Pre- and Post-Disaster Environments: Lessons from Puerto Rico
Cory Arcak is the Director of the MSC L.T. Jordan Institute for International Awareness at Texas A&M University. With a background in anthropology, the arts, and education, she serves the Texas A&M campus and surrounding community by providing international internships, service opportunities and research support. For the past 10 years, working with colleagues and students, she has engaged in the creation, development, and implementation of interdisciplinary, intercollegiate and cross cultural service and community curriculum and programming. These programs address issues from clean water access and equity to community recovery and investment.
