Alyssa Curran has experience working in public, private, and nonprofit organizations on urban planning, policy, and environmentally-focused projects. Alyssa supports and leads research initiatives, economic and other financial analyses, asset management projects, and multi-disciplinary climate risk, resilience, and adaptation design and planning efforts. Her experience includes strategic planning for an active transportation project's equity plan in St. Louis, climate analysis and resilience design strategy for a major transportation hub in the NYC region, and project development support for Puerto Rico's first electric cooperative. Alyssa is most passionate about leveraging infrastructure investments to promote economic development, resiliency, and vibrancy in cities and neighborhoods and in strategic planning for energy, water, and other critical infrastructure systems. Ms. Curran is currently an Associate Consultant in the Advisory Services group at WSP USA, and serves as one of the firm's Future Ready™ Champions. She holds Master in Urban Planning degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Alyssa is a member of the American Planning Association and is a certified Envision™ Sustainability Professional.
