Transforming University Engagement In Pre- and Post-Disaster Environments: Lessons from Puerto Rico
Roque Nonini is a photographer based in New York City. People are the focus of his work. He’s had the pleasure of photographing writers, musicians, artists and other creative professionals. His images have appeared in publications by New York Magazine, Shape, Workman Publishing, University of Nebraska Press, Bull City Press and The Center For Fiction.
In addition, he’s enjoyed the opportunity to photograph food arrangements and platters for Chef Ilene Rosen of R&D Foods.
The street photography? Well that’s just for fun.
He’s also a professionally trained filmmaker with a BFA in film & television production. Currently he’s in production on Dis-em-POWER-ed, a documentary that examines the colonial roots of Puerto Rico's energy and debt crises.
He lives in Brooklyn where he provides professional photography and video services for hire.
